Introduction
A school where children were placed according to individual differences and could excel to their full potential. A safe and protective children's environment where learning was made to be funIn 1974 it was just a vision. A teaching preschool and kindergarten where children could progress at their own pace. A school where children were placed according to individual differences and could excel to their full potential. A safe and protective children's environment where learning was made to be fun. The vision became a reality in 1975 when Little Red School House was founded by two teachers, Ethel Palmer and Janis Palmer-Malley. Today educators in this area continue to recommend and admire our program. The school has received national acclaim with the induction of Janis Palmer Malley to the Who's Who of American Women for her contributions to the field of education. Janis combines her teaching degree with her background in psychology to understand all aspects of a child's learning development.

The success of the program is due to the proven curriculum, our high standards and an experienced and qualified teaching staff. Our teachers aren't just caregivers, but rather college-educated professionals who know how to communicate, teach and evaluate children.

Why not give your child the educational advantage the Little Red School House will provide. Don't waste these precious early years on simply a day care program. Your decision now can make a difference on how your child develops. Why not choose the best, Little Red School House. We will instill in your child a thirst for knowledge that will last a lifetime.

Philosophy All children are unique and we must discover their hidden talents and develop them. We must also enhance the areas of study that children have difficulties with and overcome them with love, understanding and encouragement.

Philosophy
Our philosophy of education is based on the premise that all children should progress at their own rate. Children are placed according to their individual learning abilities not necessarily by age. All children are unique and we must discover their hidden talents and develop them. We must also enhance the areas of study that children have difficulties with and overcome them with love, understanding and encouragement. Our greatest challenge is to instill In each child a feeling of self worth, confidence and competence to be able to handle our complicated world. By accomplishing this challenge, our children will be equipped to face change and new experiences with vigor and aptitude. Our goal is to challenge each child so they maximize their learning experience and reach their full academic potential. By growing academically, emotionally and socially our children will develop into well-adjusted adults.

Our schools offer curriculums for children ranging from infants through an elementary after school program from 3:00 - 6:00 P.M. Since most children have a limited attention span, our students' subject matter changes every thirty minutes. A typical daily schedule would include art, gym, unit, recess, flashcards, lesson sheets and music. Our schools offer curriculums for children ranging from infants through an elementary after school program from 3:00 - 6:00 P.M. Our curriculum also includes an introduction to foreign language, computers, and aerobics. Our classes are kept small, so each child can receive more individual attention. A "back to the basics" curriculum demonstrates our philosophy. Our classes allow students to participate and interact through hands on learning experiences in a child-oriented environment. Lesson plans are kept by each teacher, so you know what your child is learning each day.

Progress Reports
Each child is evaluated on an individual basis through teacher observation and their written and oral reports. Each parent receives a nine week report which reviews their child's progress. The child's teacher and the director of the school prepare those reports. We encourage all parents to take an active role in their child's development while at our school. Any time you wish to discuss your child's progress we will arrange a private teacher conference. Formal parent-teacher conferences are held during the year. These meetings provide more insight on your child's progress.
